Born in 1993, Firetrap is a contemporary denim fashion
brand with a twist. The brand continues to reinvent and
deliver fashion classics for the young minded trend condcious
consumer.
The brand incorporates 5 collections; Firetrap
Menswear, Womenswear, Blackseal Denim Jeans,
Firetrap Accessories and Footwear.
Firetrap has a
substantial presence in the UK, with over 500 doors ranging
from Selfridges to house of Fraser, alongside 4 stand alone
stores and 6 concessions. Firetrap has a growing International
retail presence across 14 markets with a store opening soon in
Dubai and concessions in Italy.
Autumn/Winter 2008: An underlying theme of
Propaganda runs within the collections with a strong focus
seen in menswear. Inspiration from The Black Panther Movement
- late 70's mixed with early 80's Bronx influence. The theme
is expressed through strong graphics on tees, slim line
parkers and streamline silhouettes throughout. tactile fabrics
including boiled wool, mixed sweat, jersey, angora and mohair
are prominent within the collection. Denim is given a black
resin twist in a classic 5 pocket. Womenswear expresses the
Propaganda undertone across 3 main themes; Modernist Luxe
Sport, Tailoring and Military. Performance outerwear is given
a twist with sexy body conscious styling. Tailoring sees a
twist on classics with accents of colour across gabardine,
chunky mohair and graphic prints on sheer silk chiffon.
